The main focus of our Ngā Kanohi Kitea development grants is to build Māori capability and knowledge. Up to $10,000 is available over three months to help applicants prepare a proposal for a Ngā Kanohi Kitea full project grant.
To be eligible for one of these grants, you'll need to be a New Zealand citizen or hold residency in New Zealand, and be of Māori descent. You'll also need to intend to apply for a Ngā Kanohi Kitea full project grant.
Firstly, you'll need to register your intention to submit an application for this grant and then complete your registration online via HRC Gateway. After registration, you'll need to submit a full application online via HRC Gateway using the templates provided below. The final step is to send a signed hardcopy of your full application to the HRC.
