Our summer studentships provide $7,500 to introduce research to those students who have the potential to develop in a career that may involve Māori health research. Students should have a suitable supervisor over the tenure of the studentship (10 weeks).

Eligibility criteria

To apply for one of these studentships, you'll need to be a New Zealand citizen or hold residency in New Zealand, and be of Māori descent.

Application process

Firstly, you'll need to register your intention to submit an application for this grant and then complete your registration online via HRC Gateway. After registration, you'll need to submit a full application online via HRC Gateway using the templates provided below.
