We have joined together with Pharmac to form a joint research initiative that supports innovative research and advances the strategic objectives of both organisations. This is the second request for proposals. Funding of up to $427,500 is available.
2018 NZ-China non-communicable diseases collaborative research
The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) is seeking applications from New Zealand-based researchers (individuals or teams) with demonstrated collaborations and linkages with China-based researchers. Funding of up to $405,000 (exclusive of GST) is available for one research project, over three years.
2018 Precision Driven Health-HRC Postdoctoral Fellowship Partnership
Precision Driven Health (PDH) and the Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) have formed a joint funding initiative to help foster the health research workforce of New Zealand and support innovative research through the provision of Postdoctoral Fellowships. Funding of up to $240,000 (exclusive of GST) is available per Postdoctoral Fellowship, for a duration of up to two years.
2018 MSD-HRC research partnership
The HRC and Ministry of Social Development (MSD) are seeking to fund high-quality research which facilitates enhanced employment outcomes for clients with a health condition or disability. The funding partners invite applications for funding of up to $475,000 and a duration of up to two years. A total of $1.43 million is available for allocation across different proposals.
2018 e-Asia joint research programme
The e-Asia joint research programme initiates and supports multilateral joint research programmes in the East Asian region. It aims to develop a vibrant and collaborative research community in science and technology; promote innovation in the East Asian region; and contribute to the region’s economic development. $450,000 over three years is available.
2018 Primary Care models of care evaluation research
The HRC and the Ministry of Health are seeking to fund evaluation research that will provide an evidence-base to inform decisions about the future of general practice models of care provided by PHOs. A total funding pool of approximately $1.33 million for up to two years is available.
